
Manage AppleCare+ for Business plans
After you’ve reviewed the plan details you can begin to add plans. See Intro to AppleCare+ for Business plans
Add a user plan
After you add a user to a user plan, that user can enroll their devices. See the following:
To send to a single user, complete the task Send enrollment instructions to a single user.
To send to multiple users, complete the task Send enrollment instructions to multiple users.
In Apple Business, sign in with a user whose role has permissions to purchase Apple Business subscriptions.
To view roles and permissions, see Intro to roles and permissions.
Choose one of the following:
If this is your first plan, select Get Started.
If you have plans already set up, select Add Another AppleCare Plan.
Choose User Plan, then select Continue.
Choose how many devices is covered per user. You can choose from one or up to three.
Select Next.
Select User Groups or Users.
In the search field, search for and select the user groups or users you want to add to the plan.
If this is the first plan you created, enter your organization’s credit card information.
If the credit card’s billing address matches that of your organization’s initial address in Apple Business, you can select it.
If the billing address is different, deselect the organization’s address and enter the billing information associated with the credit card.
The credit card you use is validated by Apple before it’s saved. If you see an error, try entering the CVV code or zip code again, or try another card.
Select Next, review the plan details, then select Start Plan.
The plan now appears in your subscription list.
Add a device plan
In Apple Business, sign in with a user whose role has permissions to purchase Apple Business subscriptions.
To view roles and permissions, see Intro to roles and permissions.
Choose one of the following:
If this is your first plan, select Get Started.
If you have plans already set up, select Add Another AppleCare Plan.
Choose Device Plan, then select Continue.
In the search field, search for and select the organization-owned devices you want to add to the plan.
To add devices at the time of purchase, see Manage device suppliers.
If this is the first plan you created, enter your organization’s credit card information.
If the credit card’s billing address matches that of your organization’s enrollment address in Apple Business, you can select it.
If the billing address is different, deselect the organization’s address and enter the billing information associated with the credit card.
The credit card you use is validated by Apple before it’s saved. If you see an error, try entering the CVV code or zip code again, or try another card.
Select Next, review the plan details, then do one of the following:
If you want to approve the device for management, check “Approve recently added devices for management without manual review.” Otherwise, you’ll have to manually review and approve this device after it’s enrolled. See Enrollment methods.
Select Start Plan.
The plan now appears in your subscription list.
View existing plan details
You can view plan details, such as assigned user groups, user, or devices and the number of active licenses.
In Apple Business, sign in with a user whose role has permissions to view Apple Business subscriptions.
To view roles and permissions, see Intro to roles and permissions.
Choose a plan to see details about it and the number of active licenses.
To view associated assignments, select View under Users to view who is assigned to a plan.
Add more user groups or users to an existing user plan
In Apple Business, sign in with a user whose role has permissions to edit Apple Business subscriptions.
To view roles and permissions, see Intro to roles and permissions.
To edit your plan details, select Manage next to the plan type.
Select Add or Remove, then select User Groups or Users.
In the search field, search for and select the user groups or users you want to add to the plan.
Select Change, then select Update.
Add more devices to an existing device plan
In Apple Business, sign in with a user whose role has permissions to edit Apple Business subscriptions.
To view roles and permissions, see Intro to roles and permissions.
To edit your plan details, select Manage next to the plan type.
In the search field, search for and select the devices you want to add to the plan.
Select Change, then select Update.
Edit a plan
You can make edits to your AppleCare plans.
In Apple Business, sign in with a user whose role has permissions to edit Apple Business subscriptions.
To view roles and permissions, see Intro to roles and permissions.
To edit your plan details, select Manage next to the plan type.
Make your edits, review the plan details, then select Update.
Remove a plan
When you remove a plan, all users or devices associated with that plan become unmanaged. See Device workflow.
In Apple Business, sign in with a user whose role has permissions to edit Apple Business subscriptions.
To view roles and permissions, see Intro to roles and permissions.
Select Manage next to the plan you want to cancel.
Select Cancel AppleCare Plan, then carefully read the warning.
If you still want to cancel the plan, select Cancel AppleCare Plan.
