How to save Visual Voicemail messages on your iPhone

You can save your Visual Voicemail messages as notes or voice memos, or share them using Messages, Mail, or Airdrop.

You need iOS 9 or later, and a carrier that supports Visual Voicemail in order to save Visual Voicemail messages. If you aren't sure if your carrier supports Visual Voicemail, contact them for more information.

Save your Voicemail audio as a note or voice memo

  1. Go to Phone > Voicemail. 
  2. Tap the Voicemail message that you'd like to save, then tap   .
  3. Choose Notes or Voice Memos. Then save your Voicemail message.

Share your Voicemail using Messages, Mail, or AirDrop

  1. Go to Phone > Voicemail. 
  2. Tap the Voicemail message that you'd like to share, then tap   . 
  3. Choose Messages, Mail, or Airdrop.
  4. Type and send your message with the attached Voicemail. You can also share the Voicemail by tapping an AirDrop contact.

You can also save Visual Voicemail messages on iCloud Drive.
