Follow rhythm of chords and other tracks in Logic Pro for Mac

You can set Session Player regions to place rhythmic emphasis on chord changes and to follow the rhythm of another track. You can set these options for each individual Session Player region, allowing you to create interesting rhythmic variations for different parts of your song.

You may decide, for example, that it makes more musical sense during the chorus to have the Drummer and Bass Player follow the rhythm of a guitar track. Or perhaps it sounds better when the Keyboard Player emphasizes the chord changes in the intro but lays back during the verse.

The option to follow the rhythm of chords is turned on by default. Session Player regions follow chords in the global Chord track or their individual region chords, depending on that region’s settings in the Session Player Editor. See Choose which chords a Session Player region follows.
