You can add a channel strip to, or remove a channel strip from, single or multiple groups. You can also temporarily disable all group parameter links—applying a Group Clutch—to change the volume of an individual channel strip, for example.
In Logic Pro, do one of the following:
Click the channel strip’s Group slot, then choose a group from the pop-up menu.
Select one or more channel strips in the Mixer, then choose Add Selected Channel Strips from the More menu in the Group Settings window.
In Logic Pro, click the channel strip’s Group slot, then press and hold Shift while choosing groups from the pop-up menu.
In Logic Pro, press and hold Option and click the channel strip’s Group slot.
The most recently accessed group setting—including the setting for overlapping groups—is applied to the current channel strip.
In Logic Pro, do one of the following:
Click the Group slot, then choose the group from which you want to remove the channel strip.
Select one or more channel strips in the Mixer, then choose Remove Selected Channel Strips from the More menu in the Group Settings window.
In Logic Pro, click the Group slot, then choose No Group.
In Logic Pro, do one of the following:
Deselect Mix > Groups Active (or press Shift-G).
Deselect Options > Enable Groups from the Mixer menu bar.
Deselect the “Groups active” checkbox in the Group Settings window.
When groups are disabled, all Group slots change color from yellow to light gray.
In Logic Pro, do one of the following:
Select Mix > Groups Active (or press Shift-G).
Select Options > Enable Groups from the Mixer menu bar.
Select the “Groups active” checkbox in the Group Settings window.
When groups are enabled, all Group slots are yellow.
