
Overview of the Screen Control Inspector in MainStage
In Layout mode, you edit basic screen control parameters that are constant throughout the entire concert. The Screen Control Inspector is where you edit screen control parameters for a specific patch or set. In the Screen Control Inspector you can:
Set the behavior of screen controls
The Screen Control Inspector consists of three tabs:
Attributes: You can change the behavior and appearance of screen controls.
Mapping: You can see and edit the mappings of screen controls to hardware or software parameters. For more information on mapping screen controls, see Overview of mapping MainStage screen controls.
Unmapped: If a screen control is unmapped, you can map it to a hardware or software parameter. For more information on mapping screen controls, see Overview of mapping MainStage screen controls.
Open the Screen Control Inspector
In MainStage, enter Edit mode, either by clicking the Edit button on the toolbar, choosing Edit from the View menu, or via a key command.
Choose Show Inspectors from the View menu. If the Inspector is already showing, you can skip this step.
Select a screen control in the Workspace.
