Intro to security and privacy
iPhone, iPad and Mac can be configured to optimize security and privacy settings to protect devices, organization and personal data.
Your organization may use device management to enforce organizational security policies and privacy settings to protect users and organizational data. You can determine which settings on a device are being managed and review the configuration profiles installed through device management. For more information, see Intro to device management.
When a device is not managed, you can safeguard user accounts from unauthorized access, set up strong, unique passwords; turn on two-factor authentication; and configure Face ID or Touch ID. You can also manage app permissions, manage location tracking, and turn on privacy features like Mail Privacy Protection and App Tracking Transparency. And you can improve security with regular software updates.
