System requirements
The recommended system requirement for Motion 5.5 is macOS Big Sur. The minimum system requirement is macOS 10.15.6. For more information, go to Final Cut Pro tech specs, then click Motion at the top of the page.
Apple silicon
Motion now runs natively on Apple silicon and Intel-based Mac computers.
