Bundle IDs for native Apple TV apps in mobile device management
If you remove an Apple TV app that was pre-installed, you can add that app back using mobile device management and the app’s bundle ID.
Administrators may want to reinstall native tvOS apps — such as Music, Apple Arcade and App Store — on Apple TV. Reinstalling gives administrators the ability to show or hide apps, to properly define Home screen layouts, and if the app has been removed, to reinstall it.
The table below shows the name and bundle ID for each native tvOS app. Bundle IDs are case sensitive.
App | tvOS Bundle ID |
|---|---|
Apple Arcade | com.apple.Arcade |
App Store | com.apple.TVAppStore |
Home Sharing | com.apple.TVHomeSharing |
Movies | com.apple.TVMovies |
Music | com.apple.TVMusic |
Photos | com.apple.TVPhotos |
Podcasts | com.apple.podcasts |
