You can record multiple MIDI input devices simultaneously, each device representing a unique performance and triggering different sounds on multiple software instrument tracks at the same time you record multiple audio sources.
Before you start recording, make sure you create software instrument tracks for each MIDI Input device you want to record. You can also configure your MIDI sources in In/Out MIDI settings.
In the Track inspector for each software instrument track, use the MIDI In Port and MIDI In Channel pop-up menus to choose the MIDI In port and MIDI In channel that matches the MIDI output port and channel for the MIDI input device sending to that specific track. For more information about track parameters, see Edit track parameters.
