Studio Bass keyswitch mapping in Logic Pro for Mac
This section outlines the default keyswitch mapping used in of the Studio Bass instruments.
When you load a Studio Bass patch from the Library, you can use a keyswitch map in the Smart Controls to switch between articulations while performing or recording. This lets you add legato or slides, for example, to a bass line in real time. See Manage software instrument articulations in Logic Pro for Mac.
The table shows the default keyswitch mapping, starting from C-1 (MIDI note number 12). You can, of course, transpose the octave of notes used as keyswitches.
Note: Some articulation IDs differ for the American Upright. In such cases, use the second number in the Articulation ID field.
