You can see how your child spends time on their device including their daily average usage, most used apps, number of device pickups, and more.
Check your child’s Screen Time activity
Your child’s Screen Time settings* give you a quick look at how they spend time on their device, from their daily average to the apps they use most. Tap or click any item to see more detail.
Open your child’s settings:
On iPhone or iPad: Go to the Settings app, tap Family, then tap your child’s name.
On Mac: Go to System Settings, click Family, then click your child’s name.
View any of the following from your child’s profile:
Daily Average: View their average daily Screen Time for the past week.
Most Used Today: View the apps your child has used the most.
For more detail, tap or click Daily Average or Most Used Today to see any of the following:
Daily Average: View their average daily Screen Time for the past week. Select Day or Week to get more information.
Pickups: View the average number of times your child has picked up their device. Filter by different categories like Apps & Websites, Time Allowances, or app categories.
Notifications: View the average number of notifications your child has received per day.
