Configure an AirPrint setting in Apple Business Essentials
AirPrint is an Apple technology that helps you create full-quality printed output without the need to download or install drivers.
You can repopulate your list of available printers with AirPrint-enabled printers both on iPhone, iPad, and on Mac computers. See the following:
Apple Support article (for a full list of supported printers): About AirPrint
Apple Platform Deployment: Setting up wide-area AirPrint
iPhone User Guide: Print from iPhone
iPad User Guide: Print from iPad
macOS User Guide: Print wirelessly from your Mac to an AirPrint printer
In Apple Business Essentials, sign in with a user that has the role of Administrator.
Select Settings in the sidebar, then select All Settings.
Select the Add button next to AirPrint .
Under Platform, select the operating systems you would like to configure this setting for.
Enter the following information:
The IP address or fully qualified domain name (FQDN) of the printer
The port used for sending a print job to the printer
The resource path for the printer
If you don’t know how to view this information for your printers, see Find an AirPrint printer’s information in the appendix.
Select Save.
