Align and space text in Pixelmator Pro on iPad
You can use various formatting tools to align text and format paragraphs in Pixelmator Pro.
Align and justify text horizontally
In Pixelmator Pro on iPad, select
in the Tools sidebar.
Select a text layer in the Layers sidebar.
In the Type pane, tap an Alignment button to align the text to the left, center, right, or left and right edges of the text box.
Align text vertically
In Pixelmator Pro on iPad, select
Tap a bounded text box in the canvas.
In the Type pane, tap an alignment button to vertically align the text:
Tap
to align text to the top of the text box.
Tap
to align text to the middle of the text box.
Tap
to align text to the bottom of the text box.
Adjust text spacing and indents
In Pixelmator Pro on iPad, select
in the Tools sidebar.
Select a text layer in the Layers sidebar.
In the Type pane, under Spacing, do any of the following:
Adjust the spacing space between lines: Enter a value between 1 and 10 in the Line Height field.
Adjust the space before or after a paragraph: Enter a value between 0 and 400 in the Before Paragraph field.
Adjust the space after a paragraph: Enter a value between 0 and 400 in the After Paragraph field.
In the Type Pane, under Indents, do any of the following:
Indent the first line of a text box: Enter a value in the First field. The larger the value, the bigger the indent.
Indent all text in a text box from the left edge: Enter a value in the Left field. The larger the value, the bigger the indent.
Indent all text in a text box from the right edge: Enter a value in the Right field. The larger the value, the bigger the indent.
