Check stocks on Apple Vision Pro
The Stocks app is an iPad app that works with Apple Vision Pro. Use Stocks to track market activity and view the performance of stocks you follow.
Siri: Say something like: “How are the markets doing?” or “How’s Apple stock today?” See Find out what Siri can do on Apple Vision Pro.
Check stocks
Open the Stocks app, then tap a ticker symbol in the watchlist for more details.
To search for a specific stock, enter a ticker symbol, company name, fund name, or index in the search field at the top of the window, then tap the symbol in the search results.
Manage watchlists
When you first open the Stocks app, a list of ticker symbols appears; this is called the My Symbols watchlist. To update the My Symbols watchlist, or to create your own watchlist to organize the stocks you follow (like Tech, Energy, or Entertainment), do any of the following:
Create a watchlist: Tap My Symbols, then tap New Watchlist.
Rename a watchlist: Tap the name of the watchlist, tap Manage Watchlists, tap , then enter a new name.
Add a symbol to a watchlist: Enter the name of a ticker symbol, company, fund, or index in the search field, then tap .
Each symbol you add to a new watchlist is also added to the My Symbols watchlist.
Delete a symbol: To stop following a channel or topic, pinch and drag it to the left, then tap Unfollow.
Note: If you delete a symbol from the My Symbols watchlist, that symbol is also deleted in your other watchlists.
Reorder symbols: Pinch and hold a symbol in a watchlist, then drag it to a new location.
Show currency: Tap , then tap Show Currency to display the currency the symbol is traded in.
Share a symbol: Pinch and drag a symbol in a watchlist to the left, tap , then choose a sharing option, such as Messages or Mail.
To view your watchlists across your devices when you’re signed in with the same Apple ID, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Show All, then turn on Stocks.
View stock charts, details, and news
You can view interactive charts, performance details, and related news stories about the ticker symbols in your watchlists and the symbols you search for.
Tip: Pinch and hold a ticker symbol in a watchlist to see a quick view of the symbol’s performance.
Tap a symbol you want to see more details about, then do any of the following:
View the performance over time: Tap an option from the time range selections at the top of the chart.
View the value for a specific date or time: Pinch and hold the chart, then drag to the date or time you want to view.
View the difference in value over time: Pinch and hold the chart with two hands, then move your hands to change the timeline.
View more details: Below the chart, view additional stock details like 52-week high and low, Beta, EPS, and average trading volume.
Add an earnings report event to your calendar
If a stock has an upcoming earnings report, you can add it in the Calendar app and be reminded on the day that it’s happening.
Tap a ticker symbol in a watchlist, or use the search field to search for a symbol.
If an earnings report is upcoming, tap Add to Calendar, then tap Add.
To delete an earnings report event, tap the ticker symbol the event is for, tap Edit, then tap Delete Event.
