What’s new in Motion
Motion 5.10 introduces Image Playground integration and includes stability and performance improvements.
Image Playground integration
Directly from Motion, open Image Playground and use Apple Intelligence to create a custom image in seconds by combining concepts, text descriptions, and people from your photo library, then add the generated image directly to your Motion project. (Requires macOS 15.2 Sequoia or later on Mac models with an M1 chip or later.) See Use Image Playground in Motion.
System requirements
The minimum system requirement is macOS Sonoma 14.6. Image Playground integration requires macOS Sequoia 15.2 or later. For more information, go to the Final Cut Pro tech specs webpage, then click Motion at the top of the page.
