Effect plug-ins that you insert in multi-mono mode in a surround channel strip have more flexibility because you can adjust their parameters independently by channel or group of linked channels.
In Logic Pro, click one of the channel buttons in the plug-in header.
The plug-in window now shows the effect parameters with the settings that are applied to all the channels listed on the selected channel button.
Adjust the effect parameters in the plug-in window.
Click the channel button of a different group to adjust the effect parameters for those channels.
In Logic Pro, click the Configuration button in the plug-in header to switch its view to the Configuration pane.
Click the blue Effect On/Off button below the Link pop-up menu of any channel.
A gray Effect On/Off button indicates that the plug-in effect will be bypassed on all channels that belong to that group (all their Effect On/Off buttons turn gray). This is useful when individual channels should be exempt from being processed by that plug-in.
In Logic Pro, click the Couple button in the plug-in header.
Adjust any effect parameter.
The changes for those parameters are applied to all instances of the multi-mono plug-in regardless of their group assignments. Parameters that you don’t change while Couple mode is active are not affected.
Click the Couple button again to deactivate the Couple mode.
