Hide, unhide, or delete a discussion or reply in iTunes U for web
As the course instructor or contributor, if there are inappropriate discussions, replies, or entire discussion threads in your private course and you do not want to make the content visible to your students, you can use the hide and unhide toggles to temporarily block the content from your course. Until you unhide the discussion, reply, or thread, only you and other course contributors can see the hidden information.
When you hide a discussion thread, iTunes U hides the discussion and all replies, even if the individual replies are not explicitly hidden. When you unhide the discussion thread, iTunes U displays the discussion and all implicitly hidden replies. Any explicitly hidden replies remain hidden.
As a course instructor, if you no longer want students or other contributors in your private course to see your discussions or replies, you can delete the content. When you delete your own discussion or reply, you permanently remove the content from your course and there is no way to recover the content.
