About the roster in iTunes U for web
iTunes U displays student enrollment information for a private course in the roster panes. As the course instructor, you are in charge of managing your student roster. You determine which students you allow to enroll in your course by providing the course enrollment code or shortcut link and then approving or blocking students requesting enrollment. After enrolling in your course, if a student removes the course from their library, iTunes U continues to display the student in the roster, and the student can re-enroll without approval, until you remove the student from the course.
To access the roster, click the Students button in the dashboard (or click a course name in the dashboard, click Admin > Admin, then click Enrollment, New Requests, Enrolled Students, or Add Students). Use the roster panes to share your course enrollment code, share your course shortcut link, and view the students currently enrolled in your course. You can also accept, reject, and block students from your course or, for managed courses, import students from an Apple School Manager class.
