Adjust the volume in Apple Music on Windows
You can change the volume for all songs or for individual songs, or set songs to play at the same volume. Besides listening to your computer’s built-in speakers, you can listen to audio in the Apple Music app through other speakers, such as a HomePod or Bluetooth® speakers.
In the Apple Music app on your Windows computer, play music from your library, stream music from Apple Music or play Apple Music radio.
To control the volume, do any of the following:
Change the volume for all songs (like turning the volume knob on a stereo): Select the Speaker button at the top of the Apple Music window, then use the volume slider.
The maximum volume is limited by your computer’s volume setting.
Adjust the volume of a particular song or music video: Select the More button for a song, choose Properties, select Options, then drag the volume slider.
Set all songs and music videos to always play at the same volume: Select the Sidebar Actions button at the top of the sidebar, choose Settings, select Playback, then turn on “Sound check”.
To use speakers other than the built-in ones, select the AirPlay button , then select the tickbox next to the speaker. These types of speakers are supported:
An AirPlay- or AirPlay 2-enabled device, including HomePod mini, or network speakers (for example, Apple TV played through TV speakers). See the HomePod Support website.
Bluetooth devices, including wireless headphones such as AirPods. See the AirPods Support website.
