Intro to the Timeline ruler in Motion

You can perform several timing tasks in the ruler above the Timeline track area:

• Drag the playhead to a specific frame to view the project at a specific time.

• Drag the In and Out points of your project so playback occurs only within the specified frames. See Define the play range.

• Select a range of frames, so you can delete, cut, or paste into them. See Edit a range of frames in the Motion Timeline.

• Add or edit project markers, which can be added to your project to identify an important frame or range of frames. See Intro to Timeline markers.
