iTunes U User Guide for web
Delete a course in iTunes U for web
When a course is no longer needed, you can delete it from iTunes U.
Only the course owner can delete a course.
Delete a course from the dashboard
In iTunes U for web, click in the row for the course you want to delete.
Choose Delete Course, then specify if you want iTunes U to remove the associated course materials.
iTunes U does not remove any materials used in other courses.
Before you delete the course, you can transfer the course to another instructor. If you added contributors to the course, you can click “transfer it” in the pop-up pane for more details.
Click Delete to confirm.
When you delete a private course, iTunes U deletes all instructor and student data (for example, rosters, grades, homework, discussions and usage information). You cannot recover the deleted data and course contributors can no longer access to the course.
Note: You cannot delete a course published in your institution’s iTunes U catalog. To delete a published course, contact your institution’s iTunes U administrator to first remove the course from the catalog, then you can delete the course from iTunes U.
