Lock and unlock an assignment in iTunes U for web
When an assignment in your private course is past its due date (in-session courses only) or you are no longer accepting homework hand-ins or discussions regarding the assignment, you can lock the assignment. Locking an assignment allows you to focus on the active assignments in your course.
Lock an assignment
In iTunes U
for web, click the course name in the dashboard for the assignment you want to lock.Do one of the following:
Click Admin
, click Grades, then click the assignment header for the assignment you want.Click Posts
, click 
Assignments, click the assignment you want, then click 
.
Click
Lock Assignment.iTunes U locks the assignment. Once an assignment is locked, your students can no longer use the assignment journal to communicate privately or exchange files.
Unlock an assignment
In iTunes U
for web, click the course name in the dashboard for the assignment you want to unlock.Do one of the following:
Click Admin
, click Grades, then click the assignment header for the assignment you want.Click Posts
, click Assignments, click the assignment you want, then click .
Click Unlock Assignment.
iTunes U unlocks the assignment.
