Review assignment hand-ins in iTunes U for web
After you add one or more assignments to your posts, you can turn on the hand-in feature 
for a specific assignment to indicate to your students that the assignment requires them to hand in homework. You can also add due dates to assignments to indicate to your students that the work must be completed and turned in by a specific date and time.
Upload homework hand-ins
Homework hand-in allows students to submit their work to you through the iTunes U app on their iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch. Students can use a variety of Apple and third-party apps, as well as the built-in PDF annotation tools to complete their assignments. Be sure to attach a PDF or image file if you want students to open and annotate the file in the iTunes U app.
In iTunes U
on iOS, tap Posts > 
Assignments for a course with a homework hand-in requirement.Tap an assignment to upload a homework hand-in.
Tap

, then select a document or snap an image to send to the course instructor.Confirm the homework hand-in is correct in Send To Instructor, tap Send, then tap OK.
Enter a comment or question for the course instructor, then tap Send.
Review homework hand-ins
In iTunes U
for web, click Posts > Assignments for the course where you want to review homework hand-ins.Click the assignment with the hand-ins you want to review.
Click the student name whose assignment you want to review.
Click the hand-in file to download and review the student’s homework.
