Share a reminder list on iCloud.com

You can share reminder lists with other iCloud users using Reminders on iCloud.com. Only the owner of a shared list can add and delete people who are sharing the list.

People you share a list with can view the list, mark items as complete, add and delete items, and see who else is sharing the list.

Shared lists appear in Reminders on iCloud.com and in the Reminders app on iOS devices and Mac computers. On Windows, lists appear in Microsoft Outlook.

Share a list

  1. Click the broadcast icon next to the reminder list.

  2. Type the contact names or email addresses of the people you want to share with.

  3. Click Done.

All invitees receive an email invitation, which they must accept to view and edit the shared list.

Add new participants

  1. Click the broadcast icon next to the shared reminder list.

  2. Type the contact names or email addresses of the people you want to share with.

  3. Click Done.

Stop sharing a list

  1. Click the broadcast icon next to the shared reminder list.

  2. Select the participant you no longer want to share with, then choose Remove Person. Repeat for each participant you want to remove.

    To stop sharing the list, delete all participants.

Deleting a shared list makes it unavailable to everyone, including you.

Resend invitations

You can resend invitations to one or more list participants. You might want to do this if some participants haven’t responded yet.

  1. Click the broadcast icon next to the shared reminder list.

  2. Click the triangle next to a participant’s contact name or email address, then choose Invite Again.
