Use iCloud with Photos on your Apple TV
You can do more with the Photos app on your Apple TV when you turn on iCloud. There are three different features you can turn on: iCloud Photos, Shared Albums, and My Photo Stream. Each feature lets you do different things.
First, set up the features on your Apple TV. Then, learn more about what you can do with each iCloud feature.
iCloud Photos
When you turn on the iCloud Photos feature, you see a menu bar with three categories: Photos, Memories, and Albums. You can now do the following:
Access your photos and videos on your Apple TV: See photos and videos you take on other devices in the Photos app on your Apple TV if those devices have iCloud Photos turned on.
Browse memories: The Memories screen on your Apple TV arranges photos and videos from iCloud Photos into short movies you can watch on the big screen. Watch the movie, view individual photos and videos from the movie, and add movies to your Favorite Memories album.

Shared Albums
When you turn on the Shared Albums feature, you see your shared albums when you open the Photos app. If you also have iCloud Photos turned on, your shared albums appear in the Shared category in the menu bar. You can now do the following:
View your shared albums: Use Photos on your Apple TV to view all albums you share and those shared with you.
View comments and like photos: View comments and like photos in shared albums directly from your Apple TV.

My Photo Stream
When you turn on the My Photo Stream feature (not available for new accounts), you see your photo stream when you open the Photos app. If you also have Shared Albums turned on, your photo stream appears in the Photo Stream album. You can now do the following:
See all recent photos on your Apple TV: View recent photos that you took on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or uploaded to a Mac or Windows computer if those devices have My Photo Stream turned on.
