Mixer View settings in Logic Pro for Mac
When Enable Complete Features is selected in Advanced settings, Mixer View settings are available.
Show “Mastering Assistant” Button in Stereo Output checkbox: Deselect the checkbox to hide the Mastering Assistant button from the stereo output channel strip’s Audio Effect slot.
Plug-in Window
Open plug-in window on insertion checkbox: Opens the window of a plug-in automatically after it is inserted in the channel strip.
Show recent plug-in list in plug-in menu checkbox: Displays a list of recently used plug-ins at the top of the audio effect and instrument plug-in menus.
Level Meters
Peak Hold Time pop-up menu: Choose how long the level meter displays the top LED segment (peak) after the level resides. Click the numeric Peak Level display above the level meter to clear the peak holds.

Return Time pop-up menu: Set the rate at which the level meters return to zero, in decibels per second. The default value of IEC Type I (11.8dB/s) is an industry standard that is appropriate for nearly every project. However, if your source material is unusually fast or contains multiple tempo changes that require faster or slower return levels, you can choose from six additional faster or slower return times.

Channel Order pop-up menu: Choose a standard to determine what speaker positions are displayed on a surround level meter’s LED bars from left to right. This applies to level meters on channel strips and track headers.
Important: The channel order changes slightly depending on the current surround format.
For the 5.1 format, the following options are available:
DTS: L - R - Ls - Rs - C - LFE
SMPTE/ITU: L - R - C - LFE - Ls - Rs
Clockwise: Ls - L - C - R - Rs - LFE
Film: L - C - R - Ls - Rs - LFE
For the 7.1.4 format, the following options are available:
DTS: L - R - Ls - Rs - Lm - Rm - C - LFE - Lt - Rt - Lts - Rts
