iCloud: Reminders


A reminder is a “to do” item with a time or date deadline that you set to remind yourself of something you need to do.

If you turn on Reminders when you set up iCloud, iCloud stores your reminders and automatically pushes them to each of the devices that you set up to work with iCloud, so you can create, view, and edit them from any device.

For example, if you create a reminder in the Reminders app on your iOS device, you see the same reminder when you use Reminders on your Mac, or Microsoft Outlook (where reminders are called tasks) on your Windows computer, or the iCloud Reminders web application at
