View a shared photo stream on the web

As the owner of a shared photo stream, you can choose to have your shared photo stream posted to a public URL. You might want to do this so that people who aren’t iCloud users can view the photo stream. For instructions, see Create a shared photo stream.

When invitees access the photo stream online, they don’t have to log in to see the photos. As a result, they can view and download the photos only, and not add comments to or “like” specific images.

View a shared photo stream on the web

  1. Click the URL for the shared photo stream in the invitation email you received.

  2. On the webpage, click any photo to view it larger.

  3. Do any of the following:

    • Click the Play button below the photo to view a slideshow of all photos in the photo stream.

    • Click the forward and back arrows to navigate through the photos manually.

    • Click the Download button (the downward-pointing arrow) in the lower-right corner to download a photo.

    • Click the double arrows in the lower-right corner to view the photo full screen.
