iCloud: Set up My Photo Stream in iCloud
Your new photos appear automatically on the iOS devices (with iOS 8 or later), computers, and Apple TV you set up with My Photo Stream, no matter which iOS device or computer you use to take or import new photos. For system requirements, see the Apple Support article System requirements for iCloud.
Note: In some cases, My Photo Stream is not available for newly created accounts. Learn how to use iCloud Photos to store your photos and videos in iCloud.
On your iOS device
iOS 10.3 or later: Go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Photos, then turn on Upload to My Photo Stream.
iOS 10.2 or earlier: Go to Settings > iCloud > Photos (or Settings > Photos & Camera), then turn on Upload to My Photo Stream.
With My Photo Stream turned on, new photos taken with your iOS device are uploaded to iCloud when your device is connected to the Internet through Wi-Fi. When iCloud Photos is not turned on, the new photos appear automatically in My Photo Stream on your iOS device, your Mac, your Windows computer, and your Apple TV. When iCloud Photos is turned on, the new photos become part of your photo library and appear in All Photos.
