Set up Apple Cash Family and Apple Card Family for your child
With Family Sharing, you can set up Apple Cash for your child so they can send and receive money, and you can share Apple Card with the adults and older kids in your family. For more details, see Set up Family Sharing on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac.
Note: Apple Cash Family and Apple Card Family are available in the U.S. only. Your child must be part of your family and have their own Apple Account.
Set up Apple Cash for your child
As a family organizer, you can set up Apple Cash for your child. After you set it up, they can access Apple Cash in Wallet, which they can use to send and receive money in Messages and make purchases with Apple Pay.
Go to the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
Tap Family, then tap your child’s name.
Tap Apple Cash, tap Set up Apple Cash, then follow the onscreen instructions.
To see the card balance, monitor transactions, and narrow the list of people your child can send money to, go to Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay. See Apple Cash Support.

Tip: Apple Cash Family works for any child in your family, even younger kids. You can send a one-time amount or schedule a weekly or monthly payment, like an allowance.
Set up Apple Card Family
Apple Card Family lets you share Apple Card with people in your family. You can add children who are 13 or older as participants, set a spending limit, and track their transactions.
Go to the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
Tap Family, then tap Apple Card Family.
Follow the onscreen instructions.

Manage Apple Cash on a child’s device
You can manage your child’s Apple Cash, choose who they can send money to, and send them money.
Go to the Wallet app on your child’s iPhone or iPad.
Tap your Apple Cash card, then tap the More button.
Tap your child’s name below Family.
Do any of the following:
Send money: Tap Send Money.
See your child’s recent transactions: Tap Transactions.
Choose who your child can send money to: Set who your child can send Apple Cash to.
Choose who your child can receive money from: Set who your child can receive Apple Cash from.
Get transaction alerts: Choose to be notified when your child makes a transaction.
Lock Apple Cash: Tap Lock Apple Cash to prevent your child from making payments with Apple Pay or sending and receiving money in Messages.
