About domain conflicts in Apple Business Connect
In Apple Business Connect, you must resolve domain name conflicts to verify your domain name. Domain names are registered and must be globally unique. The domain, or domain name (as it is also commonly known), is the name that designates the larger company rather than an individual business.
If you attempt to verify a domain and verification fails, it may be that some other company is using that domain. For example:
Company A | Company B |
---|---|
Verifies domain betterbag.com. | Can’t use the domain betterbag.com because it was already verified by Company A. |
Example domain dispute workflow
Company B can choose to send their contact information (the name of the person requesting to be contacted, their email address, and the name of their company) to Company A.
Company A can choose whether to contact Company B to resolve the domain claim.
Important: Apple doesn’t intervene in domain claims.
