Add, edit, or delete photos in Apple Business Connect
Before you add photos, make sure you review the photo and text standards and guidelines. After your company is verified, you can add photos to your locations in Apple Business Connect.
After photos are approved and added, customers can tap a photo to expand it to full screen.
How photos are used in Apple Business Connect
Photos can be used in a few ways in Apple Business Connect:
Place Card photos: A Place Card photo (along with a logo)—called a cover photo—is what customers see when they select a location in Maps and Apple Wallet. You might want each location for your business to show a unique Place Card photo (but use the same logo), so customers can see the location surroundings in Maps.
Showcase photos: Showcase photos appear alongside offers of special discounts, updated menus, events, or new items.

Add photos from a web browser
In Apple Business Connect, sign in with a user that has the role of Administrator.
If you’re the administrator for more than one company, select the appropriate company from the Company list .
Do one of the following:
If you have just one location, select Info in the sidebar.
If you have more than one location, select the current location name in the upper left , then select another location.
If you have more than one business, select Businesses in the sidebar, select a business, then select the location you’d like to update from the list.
Search for a location, then select it from the list.
Select Photos in the sidebar, then select Add Photos in the upper right corner.
Note: If you haven’t yet verified this business, select Verify to add photos, then wait for Apple to complete the verification process.
Do one of the following:
Drag the photos to the Upload Photo area.
Select Upload Photo, then navigate to the folder containing the photos you want to upload.
Enter a caption and alternative (alt) text, then select Upload. Alt text is for customers who may be unable to see the image.
The uploaded photos are marked “In Review” in the lower right corner. Apple verifies them to make sure they meet the photo and text standards and guidelines before you can use them.
Edit photo details from a web browser
After a photo is successfully uploaded, you can add two additional items to the photo and edit the internal name of the photo. Each item is limited to 100 characters.
Internal photo name: This is the internal name of the photo.
Caption: This appears at the bottom of the photo.
Alternative text: Alternative (alt) text is for customers who may be unable to see the image.
In Apple Business Connect, sign in with a user that has the role of Administrator.

If you have just one location, select Info in the sidebar.
If you have more than one location, select the current location name in the upper left , then select another location.
If you have more than one business, select Businesses in the sidebar, select a business, then select the location you’d like to update from the list.
Search for a location, then select it from the list.
Select Photos in the sidebar, then select a photo.
Edit the internal photo name, caption, or alt text, then select Save.
Delete a single photo from a web browser
In Apple Business Connect, sign in with a user that has the role of Administrator.
If you’re the administrator for more than one company, select the appropriate company from the Company list .
Do one of the following:
If you have just one location, select Info in the sidebar.
If you have more than one location, select the current location name in the upper left , then select another location.
If you have more than one business, select Businesses in the sidebar, select a business, then select the location you’d like to update from the list.
Search for a location, then select it from the list.
Select Photos in the sidebar.
Select the ellipsis in the upper right corner of a single photo, select Remove, then select Delete.
Delete multiple photos from a web browser
In Apple Business Connect, sign in with a user that has the role of Administrator.
If you’re the administrator for more than one company, select the appropriate company from the Company list .
Do one of the following:
If you have just one location, select Info in the sidebar.
If you have more than one location, select the current location name in the upper left , then select another location.
If you have more than one business, select Businesses in the sidebar, select a business, then select the location you’d like to update from the list.
Search for a location, then select it from the list.
Select Photos in the sidebar.
Select the ellipsis on any photo, then select Select.
Select all photos you want to delete.
You’ll see a blue checkmark in the lower right corner of each photo you select.
Select Remove, then select Delete.
Add a logo and cover photo
In Apple Business Connect, sign in with a user that has the role of Administrator.
If you’re the administrator for more than one company, select the appropriate company from the Company list .
Do one of the following:
If you have just one location, select Info in the sidebar.
If you have more than one location, select the current location name in the upper left , then select another location.
If you have more than one business, select Businesses in the sidebar, select a business, then select the location you’d like to update from the list.
Search for a location, then select it from the list.
Select View Profile.
To add a business logo, select Image in the circle in the lower left corner, locate an image, then drag it to the Upload photo field.
Move and resize the image, use the Place Card and Wallet buttons to preview how your image is cropped on your Place Card in Maps and Apple Wallet. One crop is applied to both locations.
The images are displayed on Place Cards in Apple Wallet for Apple Pay transactions.
Select Add.
Drag a cover photo to the Upload Cover photo field, move and resize the image, use the Place Card and Wallet buttons to preview how your image will be cropped on your Place Card in Maps and Apple Wallet.
Select Add.
Apple verifies the logo (and the cover photo) to make sure it meets the photo and text standards and guidelines before you can use it.
Add a new logo or cover photo for a specific location
You can add or change the logo (small business only) or cover photo for a specific location.
For small business: You can change the logo or cover photo for each location. When you do, the new logo or cover photo is used for that specific location.
For Enterprise: You can change the cover photo for each location. When you do, the new cover photo is used for that specific location.
In Apple Business Connect, sign in with a user that has the role of Administrator.
If you’re the administrator for more than one company, select the appropriate company from the Company list .

If you have just one location, select Info in the sidebar.
If you have more than one location, select the current location name in the upper left , then select another location.

Search for a location, then select it from the list.
Do one of the following:
For small businesses, you can complete steps 4-6, if necessary.
For Enterprise, you can begin at step 7.
For small businesses, you can select Edit Logo, locate an image, then drag it to the Upload photo field.
Move and resize the image, use the Place Card and Wallet buttons to preview how your image is cropped on your Place Card in Maps and Apple Wallet. One crop is applied to both locations.
