In Notes on iCloud.com, select the note you wish to delete.
Do one of the following:
If you are not using upgraded notes: click Delete in the toolbar.
Important: If you are not using upgraded notes, you cannot recover notes you delete.
If you are using upgraded notes:
in the toolbar.
When you delete an upgraded note, it is moved to the Recently Deleted folder on iCloud.com and on your devices that use upgraded notes and are signed in with the same Apple ID. You can view and recover notes in the Recently Deleted folder for up to 30 days before they are permanently removed from all your devices. If you wish to edit notes in the Recently Deleted folder, you must first recover them.
Recover recently deleted notes
If you are using upgraded notes, you can recover and edit iCloud notes you deleted in the previous 30 days on iCloud.com, or on your devices that are signed in with the same Apple ID. However, you cannot recover notes you have permanently removed.
In Notes on iCloud.com, select Recently Deleted in the folder list on the left.
If you do not see Recently Deleted, you do not have any notes in the folder and there is nothing to be recovered.
If you do not see a folder list to the left of the notes list, you are not using upgraded notes and cannot recover deleted notes.
Select a note and click Recover in the toolbar.
The note moves to the Notes folder.
If you wish to move a recovered note directly to a folder you created, drag the note from the Recently Deleted folder to another folder.
Note: If you delete a shared note that you do not own, the note does not move to your Recently Deleted folder. See Delete shared notes on iCloud.com.
Permanently remove deleted notes
If you are using upgraded notes, you can immediately and permanently remove iCloud notes you deleted in the previous 30 days on iCloud.com, or on your devices that support upgraded notes and are signed in with the same Apple ID.
In Notes on iCloud.com, select Recently Deleted in the folder list on the left.
If you do not see Recently Deleted, you do not have any recently deleted notes.
If you do not see a folder list to the left of the notes list, you are not using upgraded notes and cannot recover deleted notes.
Select a note you want to permanently remove, then click
in the toolbar.
The selected note is removed immediately from all your devices.
Notes you leave in the Recently Deleted folder are automatically and permanently removed after 30 days.
