Import into Final Cut Pro for Mac from Image Playground

In Final Cut Pro, you can use Image Playground and Apple Intelligence to quickly create stylized images based on a description or people from your Photos library.

Note: Apple Intelligence on macOS 26 or later is not available in all languages or regions. Usage limits may apply.*

In Final Cut Pro, select the event you want to import the image to.
Do one of the following:
- Choose File > Import > Image Playground (or press Option-Shift-P).
- Click the Import Media button on the left side of the toolbar, then choose Image Playground.
To create an image, see Create original images with Image Playground in the Mac User Guide.
The generated image is imported into the browser as a 1024 x 1024 HEIC file, which you can use in your projects like any other still image.
