
Change settings in FaceTime on Mac
Use FaceTime settings to set up or change FaceTime options. Additionally, you can block callers.
Go to the FaceTime app
on your Mac.Choose FaceTime > Settings, then click a settings pane:
General: Sign in to FaceTime, set up making and receiving phone calls, and change general options such as ringtones.
FaceTime: Choose options for unknown call filtering, automatic prominence for the person speaking in a Group FaceTime call, Live Photos, and Live Captions.
SharePlay: Turn on SharePlay to allow apps to automatically start SharePlay and automatically join with people you’ve used SharePlay with before.
Blocked: Set up a list of callers from whom you don’t want to receive FaceTime calls on your Mac.
