
Change assessment review types in Schoolwork
Schoolwork provides a variety of review types to help you assess overall understanding and completion of student work. You can use one of the review types Schoolwork provides, or you can create your own custom review type. You can change review types at any time. Changing review types removes the assessment’s previous reviews for all students.
Change assessment review types
In the Schoolwork app
, tap Recent Activity, Assessments or a class in the sidebar.
Tap a previously reviewed assessment where you want to change the review type.
Find a student who turned in their work, then open their assessment.
Tap
in the review card, then choose a new review type:
Completion: Use Got It, Not Yet or Not Done to review student work.
Letter System: Use A-to-F letter grades to review student work.
Number System. Use 1-4, 1-5 or 1-6 number ratings to review student work.
Point System. Mark and score individual questions.
Satisfactory Scale. Use Excellent or Outstanding, Satisfactory, Needs Improvement or Unsatisfactory to review student work.
Custom. Create your own system that includes emojis, numbers and letters to review student work.
Note: Changing review types removes previous reviews for all students in the assessment.
Tap Change to confirm you want to change the review type.
Review your student’s work, use Markup tools to add notes and feedback for your student, then tap the review value you want to assign to the student’s work.
Tap Done.
