Maintain location information accuracy with Apple Business
It’s important to keep your location data up to date in Apple Business to ensure customers discover your business on Maps and know when to visit your business. If your place card states a location is open and your customer finds your location is closed, they can report this issue to Apple directly from your place card.
Apple reviews these reports and edits your place card to help ensure Maps shows accurate information about your location. Your organization will receive an email from Apple Business when Apple edits any of the following:
Location name
Status
Hours of operation
This email is sent to users with the role of Organization Administrator, Marketing Administrator, and any user whose role has permissions to manage locations.
