Promote your business on Apple Maps with Apple Business
You can promote your business on Apple Maps using Apple Business. It takes just a few steps to get started.
Note: Ads on Maps is available in the United States (excluding American Samoa and the Northern Mariana Islands) and Canada. Only advertisers with business locations and an address for their organization in those countries are eligible to run ads on Maps.
1. Sign up for Apple Business
Apple Business lets business owners manage and customize how their business appears across Apple services, including Maps. To start advertising on Maps, you’ll need to first sign up for Apple Business. Go to the Apple Business website, then select Get Started. From there, you’ll be guided through entering your organization’s information, verifying your organization with Apple, claiming your locations, and uploading photos.
2. Add your organization details
After you’ve finished setting up your organization in Apple Business, select Ads. Review and agree to the Apple Advertising Services Terms of Service, then add your organization details.
Important: Carefully enter the currency and time zone that you’d like to use in your account—these can’t be changed later. Then enter your Legal Entity Name, organization address, and tax ID status. Some organization roles will have the option to add and change this information later. Now, you’re ready to create an ad.
3. Create an ad
Give your ad a name, choose up to three assets, and consider adding optional promotional text. The ad preview on the page displays a representation of your ad so that you can review what it might look like. You can also swap out assets and change the promotional text before saving it.
See Create ads.
4. Choose locations to promote
You already added and verified your business locations when you signed up for Apple Business—now’s the time to select which locations to promote. To get the broadest coverage for your business, choose to include all of your locations. Any new locations that you add to Apple Business later are automatically included with this option. Or, you can select specific locations from a list instead.
5. Choose a monthly budget maximum
This is the maximum amount that you want to spend on your campaign over the course of a calendar month. You can choose a suggested budget or enter a custom monthly amount, and you can start or stop your campaign at any time. Your campaign will continue to spend based on your monthly budget unless you pause it. Your organization may also be eligible to receive a one-time $150 USD sign-up credit toward your ad spending.1
6. Review your campaign summary
Review your ad preview, selected locations, and monthly budget maximum. After you add a payment method, you’re ready to advertise on Maps.
