Modify fonts in Pixelmator Pro on Mac
You can change the font and font size of text, and replace a font everywhere it occurs in your document.
Modify the font and font size
After you add text in your document, you can change the font and font size.
In Pixelmator Pro on Mac, click
in the Tools sidebar.
Do either of the following:
Select an entire text box: Select a text layer in the Layers sidebar (or click text in the canvas).
Select part of a text box: Double-click a text box in the canvas, then click again and drag to select the characters you want to change.
In the Type pane, click the font pop-up menu, then choose a font.
Drag the font size slider to change the size of the text, or click the size pop-up menu and choose a font size.
Globally replace a font in a document
You can replace a font everywhere it occurs in a document.
In Pixelmator Pro on Mac, choose Format > Font > Replace Fonts.
Click
to the right of the font you want to replace, then choose a different font.
Click Replace Fonts.
The font is replaced everywhere it occurs. The replacement font uses the same size and weight as the font it replaces.
When you open a document that uses fonts not installed on your Mac, a missing font notification appears. To replace the missing font, click the notification.
If you have the missing font and want to install it on your Mac, use the Font Book app (see the Font Book User Guide).
If you choose a replacement font for the document, then later install the missing font, your document continues to use the replacement font until you replace it with the font you installed.
