Set up and use your Beats Solo 4

Turn on and charge your Beats Solo 4
To turn on your Beats Solo 4, press and hold the power button on the left ear cup for one second.
Charge your Beats Solo 4
To charge your Beats Solo 4, plug them into a power source using the included USB-C to USB-C cable. As your Beats Solo 4 charge, the light on the right ear cup pulses red. When your headphones are at least 95 percent charged, the light turns white.
Your Beats Solo 4 provide up to 50 hours of playback from about 2 hours and 15 minutes of charging.1 And with Fast Fuel, your Beats Solo 4 provide up to 5 hours of playback from a 10-minute charge.
Using the USB-C and 3.5 mm audio cables
You can use the USB-C to USB-C audio cable or the 3.5 mm audio cable to listen to lossless audio on your Beats Solo 4. Using the 3.5 mm audio cable to listen doesn’t require battery, so if your Beats Solo 4 headphones are out of charge, you can still enjoy all-day playback.
Pair your Beats Solo 4
If you turn your headphones on and the indicator light turns on but doesn’t flash, your headphones are already paired with a device. In that case, follow these steps to connect your headphones to a different device.
Pair your Beats Solo 4 with an iPhone or iPad
With Bluetooth enabled on your iPhone or iPad, press the power button on your Beats Solo 4 for three seconds.
Hold your Beats Solo 4 within two inches of your unlocked iPhone or iPad, and follow the instructions on your iPhone or iPad.
Pair your Beats Solo 4 with a Mac, an Android device or another device
With Bluetooth enabled on your Mac or other device, press the power button on the left ear cup until the light on the right ear cup flashes white.
Select your Beats Solo 4 from the list of discovered Bluetooth devices.

Use your Beats Solo 4
Learn how to play music, change the volume, use Siri and answer calls.
Play music
To play music, use the “b” button on the left ear cup.
To pause or play a track, press once.
To skip to the next track, press twice. To play the previous track, press three times.
To scan forwards through a track, press twice and hold on the second press. To scan backwards through a track, press three times and hold on the third press.
Change the volume
To control playback volume, use the volume buttons on the left ear cup. To control call volume, use the volume controls on your phone.
Press and release the volume up button, or press and hold to increase volume continuously.
Press and release the volume down button, or press and hold to decrease the volume continuously.
Answer calls
To answer phone calls, use the “b” button on the left ear cup.
To answer or end a call, press once.
To answer a second incoming call and put the first call on hold, press once. When two calls are active, this switches between calls.
To decline an incoming call, press twice.
Ask Siri
If you’ve set up Siri on your iPhone already, then Siri is ready to use with your Beats Solo 4.2 If you haven’t set up Siri, you’ll be guided through the setup.
To activate Siri, you can say “Hey Siri” or “Siri”, or press and hold the Learn what to do if Siri isn’t working.

Turn off your Beats Solo 4
To turn off your Beats Solo 4, press and hold the power button for one second.
