What’s new in Messages on Mac?
The Messages app in macOS 27 offers protections that prevent unknown senders from sending you things you don’t want to see.
Unknown senders get filtered from your conversation list, and any links or images they send aren’t visible until you decide that a sender is legitimate and mark them as a known contact. See Screen and filter text messages.
