Problems using User Enrolment with Classwork
If you have trouble using the Classwork app after you configured your device with User Enrolment using your school’s mobile device management (MDM) solution, try these suggestions.
If devices are configured with User Enrolment and your IT administrator sets "Opening documents from unmanaged to managed apps not allowed” on your device as well as your students’ devices, Classwork only displays iCloud Drive files for your Managed Apple Account. You can’t add files from your personal account to an assignment and your students can’t hand in files from their personal account.
Classwork is not supported if you install it from the App Store, configure User Enrolment, and your IT administrator sets "Opening documents from managed to unmanaged apps not allowed." To use Classwork with User Enrolment and managed document restrictions, request your IT administrator install Classwork using your school’s MDM solution.
If you can’t edit an iWork file and the file is not a view-only file, verify the iWork app is installed on your device. If the app is installed but editing is still not available, your device might be set up with a managed document restriction preventing Classwork from accessing the file. Request your IT administrator to install iWork apps using your school’s MDM solution.
If devices are configured with User Enrolment and your IT administrator sets “Opening documents from unmanaged to managed apps not allowed,” request your IT administrator to install apps you will use with Classwork using your school’s MDM solution to ensure you can assign app activities and view student progress.
