Allow Apple Remote Desktop to access your Mac
Use Remote Management in Sharing settings to allow others to access your computer using Apple Remote Desktop.
On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Settings, click General in the sidebar, then click Sharing. (You may need to scroll down.)
Click next to Remote Management.
Turn on Remote Management.
Turn on any of the following options:
Always show Remote Management status in menu bar.
Anyone may request permission to control screen.
VNC viewers may control screen with password. If you turn on this option, you need to enter a password.
Click the Allow access for pop-up menu, then do one of the following:
Let anyone with a user account on your Mac access your computer: Choose All users, click Options, turn on the options that local users are allowed to perform, then click OK.
Choose who can access your computer: Choose “Only these users”, click , select the users who can access your computer, then click Select.
Below Computer Information, enter information to display in the System Overview Report. (You may need to scroll down.)
Click Done.
