Copy, cut, and paste text in Keynote for iCloud
To quickly reuse text, copy it in one location and paste it to another. You can also cut text to remove it from its original location.
Go to Keynote for iCloud , then sign in to your Apple Account (if necessary).
In your presentation, select the text you want to copy or cut.
Do one of the following:
On a Mac: Press Command-C to copy text or Command-X to cut it.
On a Windows device: Press Control-C to copy text or Control-X to cut it.
When you cut text (rather than pressing the Delete key on your keyboard), you can paste the text into another location immediately.
To paste the text, place the insertion point (or select some text) where you want the text to appear, then do one of the following:
On a Mac: Press Command-V.
On a Windows device: Press Control-V.
Note: You can copy and paste text from one presentation to another, but you can’t copy and paste slides between presentations in Keynote for iCloud.
