Use iCloud Photos on Apple Vision Pro
You can use iCloud Photos to keep the photos and videos in your Photos app securely stored in iCloud, and in sync on all your devices. You can also access your iCloud photos and videos in a web browser (spatial photos and videos appear in 2D in a web browser). The photos and videos you take are uploaded automatically and stored in their original format at full resolution. Any changes you make to your Photos collection on one device are reflected on your other devices too.
To use iCloud Photos, make sure you sign in with the same Apple ID on all devices and that your devices meet these minimum system requirements: iOS 15, iPadOS 15, macOS 12, tvOS 13, or a PC with iCloud for Windows 11.
Turn on iCloud Photos
Go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud.
Tap Photos, then turn on Sync this Apple Vision Pro.
Save space on your Apple Vision Pro
iCloud Photos can help you make the most of the storage space on your Apple Vision Pro. When Optimise Apple Vision Pro Storage is turned on, all your full‑resolution photos and videos are stored in iCloud in their original formats, with storage-saving versions kept on your Apple Vision Pro as space is needed.
Optimise Apple Vision Pro Storage is turned on by default. To turn it off, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Photos, then tap Download and Keep Originals.
Get more iCloud storage
If your uploaded photos and videos exceed your storage plan, you can upgrade to iCloud+ for more storage and additional features. See Change your iCloud settings.
