About owners and contributors in iTunes U for web
As the owner of a course, you can use the course Admin | Instructors pane to invite up to five additional instructors, known as contributors, to help you develop, edit, and manage your course. Depending on your instructor role, iTunes U provides you with different privileges. For example, contributors can add and remove materials, edit the outline, manage the roster and course enrollment, create and edit posts and assignments, assign grades, and engage in private discussions with students, but cannot edit the course institution or licensing information.
Contributors to your course have full access to the materials and student data for your course. As the content provider for your course, you are solely responsible for your contributors’ activity in the course and for ensuring that contributors treat this data responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws.
The course Instructors pane displays the following roles:
