Change Purchase Sharing preferences in Family Sharing on Mac
On your Mac, use Purchase Sharing preferences in Family Sharing to share purchases with other family members.
Note: To share purchases, family members must be in the same iTunes Store country or region. If a family member changes their iTunes Store country or region, that person might lose access to other family members’ purchases, and installed apps that were shared from other family members might not work. See the Apple Support article Change your Apple ID country or region.
To change these preferences, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Family Sharing , then select Purchase Sharing in the sidebar.
Account identifies the Apple ID account that is used to share purchases with other family members. Click Edit to change the Apple ID used for shared purchases. Select the Share My Purchases checkbox to allow other family members to use your purchases.
Shared Payment Method
This option identifies the payment method that the family organizer and other family members use for purchases. Click Edit to change the payment method.
Click Turn Off to stop purchase sharing among members of the Family Sharing group.
When you stop sharing your purchases, your family members lose access to all shared iTunes Store, Apple Books, and App Store purchases, and aren’t able to make new shared purchases.
