
Use Sign in with Apple in Apple Business
Overview
Sign in with Apple at Work & School is a feature that adds support for Managed Apple Accounts to sign in with Apple. Employees can sign in with their Managed Apple Accounts to access apps and websites that support Sign in with Apple.
Requirements
This feature requires iOS 16, iPadOS 16.1, macOS 13, visionOS 2, or later.
Configure Sign in with Apple for all apps
For tighter control, complete the task Configure Sign in with Apple for specific apps and add only apps your organization has approved. Choosing All apps allows any app that supports Sign in with Apple to use a Managed Apple Account, which may not align with your security policy.
In Apple Business, sign in with a user whose role has permissions to edit access to Apple services for Managed Apple Accounts.
To view roles and permissions, see Intro to roles and permissions.
In your browser, choose Settings > Access Management > Sign in with Apple.
Select All apps.
All apps that support Sign in with Apple can now be used with a user’s Managed Apple Account.
Select Save.
Configure Sign in with Apple for specific apps
In Apple Business, sign in with a user whose role has permissions to edit access to Apple services for Managed Apple Accounts.
To view roles and permissions, see Intro to roles and permissions.
In your browser, choose Settings > Access Management > Sign in with Apple.
Select Specific apps.
Search for apps you have licenses for in your organizational unit, then select Add next to each app.
Select Save.
Remove specific apps from using Sign in with Apple
When you remove an app, any new attempts to sign in are prevented. A background notification is sent to the app within 24 hours after you remove it. This notification is to request automatic sign-out of all existing users.
Note: Apple sends the revocation signal but final sign-out depends on the app handling the notification.

In your browser, choose Settings > Access Management > Sign in with Apple.
Select the app you want to remove, select Remove, then select Remove.
Select Save.
To help ensure your users are fully signed out of the app following revocation, instruct them to individually sign out of the app for which you have removed Sign in with Apple.
