Archive email in Mail on iCloud.com
You can move messages to the Archive folder to help keep your inbox from getting too cluttered. Unlike messages you move to the Trash, archived messages remain in your Archive folder until you delete them. You can view the Archive folder in the Mailboxes list.
To quickly move messages to the Archive folder, you can replace the Delete button with the Archive button in Mail Preferences.
Archive emails
In Mail on iCloud.com, select the message or messages you want to archive in the message list.
Do one of the following:
If you selected one message: Click
at the top right, then click Archive Message.
If you selected multiple messages: Click Move, then Archive, then click Move.
Show the Archive button instead of the Delete button
In Mail on iCloud.com, click
at the top of the Mailboxes list, then choose Preferences.
In the General tab, select “Show Archive button in the toolbar,” then click Done.
To archive messages, select the message or messages, then do one of the following:
If you selected one message: Click
.
If you selected multiple messages: Click Archive.
