Activate plug-ins on inactive channel strips in Logic Pro for Mac

If the “Only load plug-ins needed for project playback” setting is enabled in General project settings, any channel strip not in the playback signal flow will be inactive, and its plug-ins will be dimmed. In order to hear the plug-ins, you need to first activate the channel strip. To activate an inactive channel strip in Logic Pro, do one of the following:
